The problems of the executive are no different than his employees and the problems of the kids I taught in Sunday school were no different than their parents. This is why I believe the words written in Ecclesiastes 1:9. There is nothing new under the sun.

Find a church in your area which supports a co-dependancy group. The church word for co-dependency is “sin”—the sin of idol worship, making something tangible so important in your life that it controls you.

Most people don’t want to be labeled anything less than fabulous and may be afraid to accept the word co-dependency. Or sin. So, here’s the test. If you are complaining. About anything. It is probably controlling you. Controlling your thoughts, emotions, behavior, sanity, finances, and time.

Everyone on the planet is either recovering from co-dependency (a modern word for sin) or is relapsing in the pit of co-dependency. Before you can recover, you need to understand it. Otherwise, you believe your best thinking is sound.
